At City of Worcester Gymnastics, we provide pre school classes that incorporate fun filled themes, a multi-skilled approach and lots of fun to develop children’s physical development as well as nurturing their social skills. Our fun and friendly sessions use a variety of apparatus to engage and stimulate the younger children alongside out specific gymnastics apparatus. Our classes aim to support not only physical skills but also develop their intellectual and emotional awareness, encourage children to be as active as possible and simply enjoy being in the gym.
Our Aims:
- To create a fun and enjoyable family environment for all gymnasts regardless of size, ability or fitness levels.
- To provide opportunities at all levels with Women’s, General and Pre-school offered, we also work with the wider community offering pre-school, disability inclusive classes, school use and adult classes.
- To develop health, fitness and social integration, whilst contributing towards physical and psychological well-being.
The Facility
We have two gyms, one in Worcester and one in Malvern. Both have a range if equipment to excite any young person. At Worcester, we boast a 7,500 square foot facility with a pit and a closed viewing area for parents to watch sessions from above. At Malvern our facility is slightly smaller catering for our recreational and advanced recreational gymnasts, and we have a viewing area where you can watch your children via a video link.
Employment and Volunteers
We are always looking for new coaches and volunteers to support our club. We have a superb volunteer programme where we can support volunteer coaches from age 13 upwards, hopefully, leading to them being coaches at the club.
We also always want volunteers to help us with different fund raising events, at competitions and generally helping within the club.
